Christmas Parrrtaaay

Last weekend KR and I attended a Christmas party at our dear friend Ron's house.
Part of the Christmas party was to benefit the charity that Ron has recently started.
KR just happens to be a board member and I am so proud of the both of them.

It is called The Toy Chest and you should probably go over and like them on facebook here (please and thank you of course).

"The mission of The Toy Chest is to serve as a non-profit organization providing toys, books, clothing and other items to children experiencing medical, social or financial challenges. The Toy Chest is committed to mentoring and fostering service values in all children, while providing them a platform to serve their peers" - the toy chest fbook page.

Isn't it just great?? Especially this time of year when so many children are without.

We all took a toy to the party to donate to the charity that will go to children in need this Christmas season.

Here are some photos of our night....that may or may not have turned into an out on the town till 3am.
Tis the season to be merry right?
(warning...heavy photo post)

KR and I posing in front of our lil tree

Ron's Christmas Tree...compliments of his sweet, sweet mother and cutie pie sister

Ron and KR

Love the fellas.
Especially the one on the right

Ron's decor was incredibly festive

Part of the spread.
The bottom right is his mama's homemade beer cheese.
It was delish!

The largest poinsettia I have ever seen in my life.
Gorgeous.

Ron's adorable lil fur baby, Cooper, or Coopey as I like to call him.
Notice his jingle bell collar? He was on his best behavior

Ron was such the hostest with the mostest.
He had cotton candy martinis for his guest with homemade cotton candy.
I was super impressed.

My favorite bartender that night

Before and after the bartender worked his magic

It wouldn't be a Kentucky Christmas party without bourbon baby!

I confess...this country girl loves her some bourbon and diet coke.

New friends :-)

Ron's sister and her hubby were a blast that night.
I enjoyed their company sooo much.

I was in charge of the reindeer games for the party.
We played Christmas charades and it was a big hit.
Everyone was such good sports and it turned out to be quite hilarious

And after a 6 or 7 few cocktails we slipped downtown Lexington
And I ran into some familiar faces from Whitesburg.

Haven't seen these gals in ages.

And these gals from home who make me feel so old.
They went to school with baby brother and one may or may not have been a long term girlfriend.
And now they are graduating college....I'm old.

And the night went on....

and on......

and on......

So much fun!
However, this gal was beyond miserable struggling the next morning. It was totally all the sugar in those martinis right?!?!
(Wink Wink.)
I was just looking for an excuse to not move until 5pm stay in bed all day and not tackle the crowds for last minute shopping.
It was a great way to kick of the last week before Christmas.
KR and I are truly blessed with some great friendships this season.

Hope you all area having great weeks!
Merry Christmas Ladies!!!
