Hey Y'all!
Remember November 18th? Cause I sure do....it's the day I married Kev!
It's time to reveal photos from our big day, but I am breaking them down into categories for my own personal documentation. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Still swooning over every.single.one.of them!
Highlights of that morning
-waking up with my my bridesmaids in the bridal suite at the hotel
-wearing my lil Mrs.W hoody and bride tee
-the ride from the hotel to Talon Winery with Megan
- getting ready in the bridal suite at the winery
-reading Kev's letter to me
-we had agreed NOT to do wedding gifts, we buy each other plenty of thoughtful things on the reg. that lil stinker sent over the sweetest gift on our wedding day. It wasn't over the top or extravagant, it was simply so thoughtful. He sent over the Kate Spade "Mrs" necklace I had been eyeballing for months. It was perfect!
- sipping mimosas and enjoying our bridal lunch together while jamming out to Taylor Swift
-opening the box of letter's my closet gal pals and bridesmaids had written for me to read on my wedding day. One of my girlfriends had been collecting them since March
- the excitement, emotions and butterflies all rolled into one
- my florist handing me my bouquet wrapped in lace from my mother's wedding veil, with buttons from Granny's wedding suit she wore in the 1940's
- putting on my dress for the first time and the tears that came down my momma's cheek
- the look on my bridesmaid's faces when they walked into the room and i was in my dress
- that feeling of when we zipped up the dress and it was loose - all that hard work in the gym had truly paid off.
- my 88 year old granny walking into the bridal suite for the first time
- my baby cousin telling me I looked like a princess
-the smoothness of the day, everything went so perfect
-My something old - my grandfather's handkerchief sewn into my wedding dress
-My Something blue - a blue piece of my decreased papaw's robe, sewn into the shape of a heart
-My Something borrowed - my grandmother's gorgeous pear shaped diamond ring, the last gift given to her by my papaw. I wore it on my left hand. It's stunning!
-My something new - my wedding dress, veil and earrings
Still swooning over every.single.one.of them!
