Why yes, yes I am.
It is still pure pandemonium here in Lexington.
Come on you people must know by now that UK basketball is life across the bluegrass.
I kinda don't know what to do with myself now that March Madness is over with.
I look forward to that time every year full of brewskis on patios, watching the game with good friends, and the camaraderie that goes on in this town.
It's one of my favorite times of the year.
For the big game, Kevin Rex and I decided to have a few of our faves over to watch the championship.
This is how we celebrated.
I broke out my UK dishes
And Kev broke out his bourbon
I made the fix'ins
(There was some amazing buffalo/ranch chicken dip too that I managed to miss a photo op for)
And Kev ordered the pizza
And we waited for our friends to come on over
3 goggles for all!
and a couple UNIbrows in the back inspired by the one and only Anthony Davis.
One of my besties is in for two weeks from Mexico.
Yay!
Caitlin is one of my bridesmaids - just btw.
Although we lives thousands of miles away from each other, it never feels like we have been apart.
Love this girl to death and was so glad she was in town with the rest of the big blue nation for the game.
3 of my favorite biatches.
(all are part of my big day....couldn't imagine my wedding without them)
Uggie demands to be front and center of all the action
Steven got a little too into the cookie cake. I don't think his wifey cared for it. hehe.
And we cheered on our Cats to national title #8
It was awesome baby!!
#winning!!

I hear ya girl! It's all I've thought about all week! Such an amazing feeling, and now there's no UK to cheer for, and we've got football up next, but it seems miles away. And although our football cats arent' the greatest, I look forward to tailgating and enjoying the games! I'll scream my heart out with the best of them! have a great weekend!
I'm still talking about it too! I did my recap post this past Wednesday. I spent the entirety of that day downtown starting at 1:30pm. After we went to Pazzos, we spent the whole night at the Tin Roof. I even was interviewed for the news and on it the next day twice! It was crazy downtown...utter mayhem! The greatest party ever!!
Um can we be IRL friends?! You know how to have fun!! Love your gallery wall too by the way, ha!
LOVE IT! Love you and yours sports obsession so much :) Where are your UK dishes from? Somewhere local, or somewhere tha makes lots of teams stuff!?!
Looks like a blast. I'm a bit jealous but just so glad you beat Kansas for us! Love those dishes!
I have those same dishes...just not UK...mine are orange! :)
Your blog looks great! I wish I could make myself put this much time into mine. I'm lucky to post anything at all. Blogger has a pretty decent all for iPhone for quick posts. Works pretty well. And keep talkin about those Cats! Great season. I'm already nervous for next year! Ha.
