So most of y'all know I just got back from vacation with the fam.
We took a lil trip to Las Vegas.
Kev and I usually go to vegas once a year, but this was the first time we all went as a family.
This was baby brothers first time in sin city.
My daddo always promised baby bro we would go to Vegas his spring break after he turned 21.
And that is just what we did.
Now I did make a rule that all winnings from the Vegas vacation would go to the wedding fund.
We arrived at bluegrass airport earlier enough for a few cold and hot beverages.
Me, Kev and baby brother sipped some brewskis
While Mama and Daddo sipped their coffee.
We had a little snack at the airport and boarder our plane.
Have y'all ever seen a 6 foot 9 inch man sit in coach?
Bless his heart, his knees were killing him by the end of plane ride.
Let's just say it's a tight squeeze for daddo on airplanes, no matter his seat choice.
Little did I know, my mom and dad are the latest Adele fans.
My dad said, "Tommye, play that rolling in the deep song...by rhianna"
We gave him a little music lesson in pop radio.
We checked into the Monte Carlo and got our game faces on for the casino.
Our 1st night in Vegas
Love my mama
Love that my brother rocked a camo carhartt hat in sin city....i love his redneck side.
Future Mr. and Mrs. :-) :-) :-)
Mama definitely has on heels...she is never this tall next to daddo.
We stayed local this night and had dinner at The Pub in the Monte Carlo.
They had about a bazillion beers and flat screens televisions on tap which was right up Kev and Charlie's alley.
This was about 5 minutes before my dad's blood sugar plummeted to the floor.
I thought the man was gonna pass out or yell out the waiter if we didn't get our food fast enough.
Note to daddy - a tall man like yourself must have regular feedings. You learned your lesson (wink wink)
Let's just there are two things members of my family can not be deprived of....food and sleep. It's in our blood.
Just ask Kev...for realz!
Charlie was soaking it all up
and Kev and Bub started the night off right with Irish car bombs.
We ate pizzas, sipped some brews (mom and daddo sipped sweet tea) and gambled our lil hearts out.
Hey we have a wedding to pay for people.
I would say we kicked it all off with a great start.
more pics/posts to come....dont you worry.
