Weekend with the Fam part II

The Powder Room Project:

So when my family came down a weekend or two ago, we did some home improvements. Along with the dinning room we also tackled our 1/2 bath downstairs aka the powder room.

I got in on the painting action...I like my job as supervisor better

Mom and I also worked some on yard work and planted some flowers in the hanging baskets we bought for the back patio. I am trying so hard to have a green thumb, so who better to learn from than my mama. I grew up going to green houses with her and playing in the mulch in the backyard. Her flower beds always looked amazing. I still have A LOT to learn...but hey this is a start. So far so good...nothing has died ...yet.

We also added two new rose bushes to the front yard flower bed. Aren't they pretty?

We are really satisfied with the final products. Hope you enjoy it too. These home to-dos and painting have made us want to paint so many other rooms in the house....stay tuned :)
